Join us in celebrating Korean American Story’s 15th Anniversary with a special championship edition of our annual storytelling competition: ROAR Story Slam All Stars!The best of the best ROAR Story Slam finalists return for a chance to win a cash prize of up to $2,000 and be crowned 2025's ROAR Story Slam All Star. Each storyteller has six minutes to captivate the audience - no scripts, no props, just pure storytelling magic. The theme of this year's stories is First Time/Last Time.The program will be emceed by Kathleen Kim, Sesame Street Puppeteer (Ji-Young, Sesame Street's first Korean American Muppet character) and Emmy-Nominated Producer. The evening will feature standup comedy by Youngmi Mayer and a Q&A with our storytellers led by Emmy-Winning TV Anchor and Reporter, Vivian Lee.
